January 22, 2010 Carrie Underwood’s “Cowboy Casanova” recently soared to the top of the charts, so BMI orchestrated an intimate luncheon at The Palm Restaurant to help the multi-platinum-selling superstar celebrate. Co-written by Underwood, Brett James, and Mike Elizondo, the song marks Underwood’s 11th consecutive chart-topper, as well as her fourth that she has co-composed. The first artist in the history of country music to debut with 11 consecutive #1 singles, Underwood released her third album, Play On, late last year.
