Ashley Monroe and Jason Aldean Celebrate The Truth BMI celebrated Jason Aldean’s third consecutive chart-topper, “The Truth,” on Monday, March 8 at its Music Row offices. Co-written by 23-year-old BMI songwriter Ashley Monroe and Brett James, “The Truth” marks Monroe’s first trip to the top of the charts, and is the third single off Aldean’s already platinum album Wide Open.
