BMI honored the creative team behind Easton Corbin’s chart-topping single, “A Little More Country Than That,” during a rooftop party at the company’s Music Row offices on Monday, April 12. Co-written by 2009 NSAI Songwriter of the Year Wynn Varble, Don Poythress and Joey + Rory’s Rory Lee Feek, the song has generated a career-launching triad of firsts for Corbin: “A Little More Country That That” is the promising newcomer’s first single off his eponymous debut album—and, subsequently, his very first trip to the top of the charts.
