BMI Catches Up with Pitbull for Belated Pop Awards Celebration
Serial chart-topper Pitbull (r) was unable to attend the 2010 BMI Pop Awards, so BMI took the celebration to him. Backstage before his performance at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, BMI’s Delia Orjuela (l) presented two prestigious BMI Pop Awards—one for co-writing and one for publishing—to Pitbull in honor of his international hit, “I Know You Want Me,” which also earned a BMI Latin Award in March.
