August 13, 2010 BMI continued to celebrate the art of conducting by hosting a six-day Conductors’ Workshop, taught by BMI Classic Contribution Award winner, conductor and composer Lucas Richman. Eight BMI composers were selected to participate in the 13th annual workshop, where they honed the craft of conducting, from the fundamentals of multi-meter scores to conducting to picture with a 32-piece orchestra. All classes were taught at The Musicians Union in Hollywood.
