BMI Dives into Eskuela de Rock Panel
BMI’s Marissa Lopez contributed to the discussion on Al Borde’s “Eskuela de Rock” panel, held recently at the Boyle Heights Technology Youth Center in Los Angeles. An afternoon music seminar for local school children, “Eskuela de Rock” is especially tailored to students interested in pursuing careers in music as songwriters, artists, and/or executives. More than 300 children have participated in the annual event, which also strives to increase awareness of the fight to keep music in schools.
