BMI Honors Songwriter Don Cook
BMI presented a host of Million-Air Awards to top-tier songwriter Don Cook during a celebratory lunch on Tuesday, May 10 in Nashville. Cook, who has accumulated over 50 million performances throughout his songwriting career, received another round of prestigious certificates recognizing the more than one million performances of Brooks & Dunn’s “Only in America,” “Mama Don’t Get Dressed Up for Nothing,” “That Ain’t No Way to Go,” and “Brand New Man.” Pictured are BMI’s Jody Williams and Clay Bradley, Don Cook, and BMI’s David Preston.
