BMI Celebrates Matraca Berg’s ‘The Dreaming Fields’
BMI presented a new round of Million-Air Awards to Matraca Berg at the party celebrating her latest album, The Dreaming Fields. The prestigious awards recognize one million or more performances of a single song written by the recipient: Berg’s “We Danced Anyway” has received more than two million; “Wild Angels” and “Strawberry Wine” have accumulated more than three million each; and “XXX’s and OOO’s (An American Girl)” has earned more than four million performances.
