BMI Partners with RAB, MIW and Eden’s Edge for Rising Through the Ranks
BMI Partners with RAB, MIW and Eden's Edge for Rising Through the Ranks BMI teamed with the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio group (MIW) to once again present Rising Through the Ranks (RTTR), a two-day training seminar designed to help female radio executives break through the glass ceiling. For the fourth consecutive year, BMI provided scholarships to 25 women, who traveled to Nashville for the RTTR classes, which were held in BMI’s offices on Music Row. At the close of the seminar, BMI treated the class to dinner and a performance by up-and-coming country act Eden’s Edge, who played a number of songs from their upcoming album, including their current chart-climbing single, “Amen.” After their performance, Eden’s Edge (Cherrill Green, Hannah Blaylock and Dean Berner) posed for a photo with the 2011 RTTR class, along with several BMI executives including Alison Smith, who has served as a key note speaker for the last two years.
