BMI Toasts Chart-Topping ‘Tomorrow’
At an intimate gathering at new Nashville hotspot Avenue, BMI toasted songwriter Frank Myers for his no. 1 song “Tomorrow,” performed by Chris Young. Co-written with Anthony Smith and Young, the song contains lyrics Myers claims are some of the best he’s ever written. That puts “Tomorrow” in top-tier company: Myers also penned huge crossover hit “I Swear,” performed by John Michael Montgomery and All-4-One, and “You and I,” recorded by Eddie Rabbitt and Crystal Gayle, among other contemporary gems.
