Old friends and stone-cold country aficionados gathered to celebrate the release of Connie Smith’s Long Line of Heartaches at an intimate reception hosted by BMI on Thursday, September 8. Smith and her band performed a short set featuring cuts from the acclaimed new release, which is already being praised by many critics as the best country album of the year.
