October 17, 2011 During the 2011 Americana Music Festival and Conference, BMI gave roots music lovers an irresistible reason to rise and shine: Kenny Vaughan and Phil Hummer & the White Falcons roared through sets on Thursday morning, the second day of the festival. One of Nashville’s premier guitarists, Vaughan is a longtime member of Marty Stuart’s band, the Fabulous Superlatives. Sugar Hill Records recently released his debut solo album, V, which has been embraced by fans and critics alike.
