BMI treated songwriter Bobby Tomberlin to a lunch at Nashville’s Maggiano’s on January 18 to celebrate four million performances of his modern-day country standard “One More Day.” Recorded by Diamond Rio in 2000, the song was Tomberlin’s first No. 1 in 2001. In addition to Diamond Rio, Tomberlin has had songs recorded by Josh Turner, Faith Hill, Kenny Rogers, Rodney Atkins, Joe Nichols, Little Jimmy Dickens, and many more.
