BMI’s Next Fresh Thing Showcases L.A.‘s Rising Hip-Hop Stars
BMI’s March 29th installment of Next Fresh Thing began with Alkatraz delivering his raw hip-hop flow and was followed with duo VIBE performing their acoustic raps. JON MCXRO then hit the stage to perform their single “Girlfriend,” along with a handful of other enthusiastically received tracks. Inglewood’s Skeme took the stage and delivered gritty, West Coast verses, while Los Angeles’ Casey Veggies (pictured) closed out the show with his signature laid-back, West Coast hip-hop.
