May 2, 2012 BMI hit songwriter Rodney Clawson was the featured entertainer at the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Annual Convention held at the historic Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City. The performance capped off quite a week for Clawson, who had six songs on the Billboard charts, including the Blake Shelton No. 1 "Drink On It," as well as "Where I Come From" by Montgomery Gentry, "Feel Like A Rockstar" by Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney, "Drunk On You" by Luke Bryan, "Comin' Around" by Josh Thompson, and the top 20 rock hit by Nickelback, "Lullaby." Clawson closed the set with a performance of "I Saw God Today," which George Strait took to the top of the charts.
