June 1, 2012 BMI presented a special performance by RCA recording artist BC Jean at this year’s Media Financial Management Conference held at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas on May 22. Jean, who was originally signed by legendary label executive Clive Davis, performed a number of songs from her upcoming album including the self-penned “If I Were a Boy,” which became a smash hit for Beyoncé and was later recorded by Reba McEntire. Pictured after her performance are MFM President/CEO Mary Collins, Cox Enterprises Director of Financial Reporting and Conference co-chair Chad Richardson, Jean, Turner Broadcasting System SVP/Controller and Conference co-chair Cheryl Ingram and BMI’s Dan Spears.
