Inaugural Coeur d’Alene Songwriters Fest a Huge Success

June 1, 2012 The community of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho came alive recently as BMI partnered with KXLY Radio Group, Idavend Broadcasting, Inland Northwest Broadcasting and the Coeur d’Alene Resort to present the first annual Coeur d’Alene Songwriters Festival. Music lovers from all over Washington state, Idaho and Montana gathered in the picturesque town to witness performances by award-winning songwriters Paul Overstreet, Even Stevens, Hugh Prestwood, Leslie Satcher, Kostas and Mike Loudermilk, as well as emerging artists Dustin Lynch, Jaida Dreyer and Mark Cooke. The festival, which was the brainchild of BMI songwriter Even Stevens, took place over Memorial Day weekend and featured shows in three separate venues.
