Curb and BMI Toast the Writers of ‘More Than a Memory’
Curb Publishing celebrated the recent five-times platinum status of Garth Brooks’ Ultimate Hits collection by presenting plaques to the three pens behind mega-hit album track “More Than a Memory.” Co-written by Lee Brice, Kyle Jacobs and Billy Montana, “More Than a Memory” was the first and still remains the only song ever to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. BMI was on hand to present Million-Air certificates to Brice and Montana, recognizing the more than one million performances “More Than a Memory” has accumulated thus far.
