Callaghan Impresses South Carolina Broadcasters
BMI sponsored a performance with British singer/songwriter Callaghan at the South Carolina Broadcasters Association annual star awards, held August 11 at the Columbia Convention Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Callaghan wowed the audience, performing songs from her debut album Life in Full Colour, produced by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Shawn Mullins. After the set, Kirk Litton, Owner/President of 92.1 FM The Palm and 94.3 Carolina Country, invited Callaghan to an in-studio interview the following morning at the 92.1 station, while L.J. Smith, Regional Programmer for Clear Channel, also made plans to promote the promising up-and-comer.
