Vicente Garcia Performs New Songs at BMI’s Los Angeles Offices
Dominican singer/songwriter Vicente Garcia (pictured) visited BMI’s Los Angeles offices on Wednesday, August 15 to treat everyone to a special live performance. Garcia is a protégé of Dominican bachata icon Juan Luis Guerra and is signed to Capitol Latin. Garcia kicked off the acoustic performance on guitar with a preview of new, self-penned material. He then moved to the piano to give the BMI Los Angeles staff a taste of his upcoming album. Between songs, Garcia explained the influence of the Dominican countryside on his writing style and music.
