BMI Discusses Songwriters’ Rights at 2012 Monitor Latino Convention

Marissa Lopez, Director, Writer/Publisher Relations, Latin for BMI, served as a panelist on the “Songwriter’s Rights in the Digital Age and New Technology” panel during the Monitor Latino Convention on Monday, August 20 at the Pacific Palms Hotel in Los Angeles. Analyzing the development and impact of new technology and the Internet on the music industry, panelists weighed the pros and cons of everything from music download websites to social networks.
