BMI and SCL Celebrate Emmy-nominated Composers
BMI attended the Society of Composers & Lyricists (SCL) reception on Sunday, September 9 at the Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences in North Hollywood to toast this year’s Emmy-nominated. BMI composers Blake Neely (Pan Am), Steven A. Gibson (Country Music), Theodore Shapiro (Game Change), Tony Morales (Hatfields & McCoys), and Javier Navarrete (Hemingway & Gellhorn), who is a member of Spanish performing rights society SGAE but chooses BMI to represent him in the U.S., all mingled and celebrated one another’s outstanding work.
