The final installment of BMI Summer Nights was held on Saturday, September 8 at the Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park and featured acts Monseuir Perine and Palenke Soultribe. Colombian band Monseuir Perine jumpstarted the evening with their unique blends of Latin sounds, jazz and swing music from their debut album Hecho A Mano, which has already been certified gold in Colombia. Fellow Colombian band Palenke Soultribe followed with their energetic set of “electro-cumbia,” performing songs off of their Nat Geo Music debut Palenke vs. Palenque. Pictured backstage at the last BMI Summer Nights on September 8 are BMI’s Marissa Lopez and Monseuir Perine.
