BMI Presents Documentary Scoring Panel at IFP Filmmaker Conference in NYC

September 26, 2012 Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) presented the “Sewing the Story Together with Score” panel at the IFP Filmmaker Conference on Thursday, September 20 at the Bruno Walter Auditorium in the Lincoln Center in New York City. The panel featured composer Paul Cantelon (Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel); director Mark Kendall (La Camioneta); composer T. Griffin (La Camioneta); sound designer Tom Paul of Gigantic Post; and music supervisor Sue Jacobs. Moderated by Doreen Ringer Ross, BMI Vice President of Film/TV Relations, “Sewing the Story Together with Score” explored how a documentary’s score is the last creative layer that brings the whole project together and conveys emotion to the audience.
