Composer Mychael Danna ‘Scores’ Big with ‘Life of Pi’ Screening
The Society of Composers & Lyricists (SCL) hosted a special 3D screening of 20th Century Fox’s film “Life of Pi” on Sunday, December 9 at Fox Studios’ Zanuck Theater. Immediately following the film, SCL Advisory Board member Charles Bernstein moderated a Q&A with BMI composer Mychael Danna. Danna wrote the original score for the film, as well as co-wrote the film’s original song “Pi’s Lullaby” with singer/songwriter Bombay Jayashri.
