Katy Tiz, welcome to BMI!
London Native, Katy Tiz is gearing up for her upcoming album debut! The singer/songwriter visited BMI’s New York City Headquarters to sign on as an official member of BMI on March 25, 2013. Tiz is also signed with Lava Records/Universal Republic Records, and Warner Chappell Publishing. Her hit song, “Famous” has been making sound waves and was most recently featured on the hit show, Gossip Girl! .” Integrating multiple genre roots such as reggae, pop, hip hop, and club mix, Katy focuses on honesty in her music, lyrics and hooks and this theme is reflected in “Famous.” BMI encourages you to give her a listen, and if you’re in the area, catch her first show coming up Sunday, April 7 at the Dinah Shore Weekend in Palm Springs.
