Broadcast Music, Inc. was in attendance to support the Society of Composers & Lyricists' (SCL) "Scoring for Television: Defining the Creative Sound of a Series” event on June 25 at the AMPAS Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood, California.

The participating composers included Robert Duncan (Last Resort, Castle), Trevor Morris (The Borgias, Vikings) and BMI composer iZLER (Revenge, Shameless). Each showcased selections of some of their favorite and most challenging moments from their varied small screen projects and discussed what it's like working alongside prolific showrunners with evolving creative directions. Additional topics included the balance of scoring multiple television programs at once for both cable and network TV while under tight deadlines. The event was moderated by SCL President Ashley Irwin.
