November 18, 2013 On November 1, Broadcast Music, Inc.'s Anne Cecere, Director, Film/TV Relations, hosted a tea party at the BMI Los Angeles office for a visiting group from the University of Miami (UM). In attendance were BMI composer and Emmy winner, Chris Boardman, who serves as Program Director, Media Writing and Production at UM's Frost School of Music, and a handful of his students. The group was treated to a visit from BMI composer Inon Zur, who took time from his hectic schedule, which includes scoring Disney’s breakthrough musical motion video game Fantasia: Music Evolved. Accompanying Zur was Gwen Bethel Riley, Head of Business Affairs Music, Disney Interactive and Greg O’Connor-Read, CEO of Top Dollar PR. They discussed the process of scoring for such an iconic, music-driven game and answered questions from the budding composers.
