Broadcast Music, Inc. proudly sponsored The Elfman Project on November 24 at UCLA's Royce Hall in Westwood, Calif. The event began with a symposium, which served as a prelude to the evening’s concert. BMI composer David Newman, Jeff Bond and Richard Kraft participated in the symposium and Jon Burlingame moderated. Newman conducted the American Youth Symphony’s portion of the program, highlighting Danny Elfman’s musical works, including scores from Big Fish, Alice in Wonderland, Milk and Oz the Great and Powerful.
