December 16, 2013 In addition to his first number one as a writer with "Round Here," Thomas Rhett was also lauded by BMI this week at Marathon Music Works in Nashville for his first number one as an artist, the multi-week hit "It Goes Like This." The co-writers behind the hit were longtime writing partners Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip, accompanied by promising newcomer Jimmy Robbins. The occasion was even more special for Thomas Rhett, as he got to share the accolade and praise for the song with his father, Rhett.
