BMI Executives Support Singer-Songwriter Ester Dean at AIMP Luncheon
Broadcast Music, Inc. executives were recently on hand at the American Independent Music Publisher's (AIMP) luncheon and panel on the "Evolution of A&R," held at Lawry's in Beverly Hills, California. BMI singer-songwriter Ester Dean participated on the panel, which included Mike Caren, President Worldwide A&R, Warner Music and Mio Vukovic, Sr. VP A&R/Head of Creative, Disney Music Group and was moderating by Sam Kling, VP Film/TV & A&R, peermusic. Each panelist elaborated on their respective areas, including the song selection process within A&R and publishing and drawing inspiration as a songwriter.
