BMI Toasts Parmalee’s No. 1 Hit “Carolina”
BMI celebrated the team behind Parmalee’s “Carolina” this week at the Company’s offices in Nashville. Written by Richard Beato and the four members of Parmalee, “Carolina” is all five writers’ first No. 1 song. The party also honored the publishers, radio promotions teams and production group New Voice who all worked on the hit, and was capped off by comments from the artists thanking everybody who made nearly a year on the charts possible.
