BMI and CMT Edge Present Your Next Soundtrack at the 2014 Nashville Film Festival
BMI and CMT Edge came together last week to host Your Next Soundtrack, a networking event and musical showcase intended to connect up-and-coming songwriting talent with top film and television industry music supervisors. Among the featured writers in the round were Ashley Monroe, Marc Scibilia, Amanda Shires and Steve McMorran. Part of Nashville Film Festival week, the event took place at CMT's studios. With cocktail hour music provided by rising group Steelism, a riveting in the round performance and new working relationships forged, it was a resounding success.
