BMI Throws Quadruple No. 1 Party for Luke Bryan
BMI celebrated the songwriters, publishers, label and everybody else who worked behind the scenes to make Luke Bryan’s four consecutive No. 1 singles from “Crash My Party” possible last week at The Bridge Building in Nashville. The songs, “Crash My Party,” “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Drink a Beer,” and “Play It Again,” have collectively sold an astounding 9 million tracks. BMI writers Jim Beavers (“Drink a Beer”), Rodney Clawson (“Crash My Party”) and Dallas Davidson (“That’s My Kind of Night” and “Play It Again”) were honored.
