BMI Brings Hit Songwriters To 3rd and Lindsley During Tin Pan South

BMI hosted a sold-out show during the 33rd annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival in Nashville, featuring trailblazing songwriters Rhett Akins, Trannie Anderson, Jeff Hyde and Wyatt McCubbin at 3rd & Lindsley on Wednesday, March 26.
Hosted by BMI’s Leslie Roberts, singer/songwriter McCubbin kicked off the round with Lainey Wilson’s “Keep Up With Jones,” Zach Top’s “There’s The Sun,” and Cody Johnson’s “That’s Texas.” Following McCubbin, two-time BMI Country Songwriter of the Year Akins led the crowd through a string of hits with Thomas Rhett and Riley Green’s “Half Of Me,” Jon Pardi’s “Dirt On My Boots,” and Luke Combs’ “Whoever You Turn Out to Be.”
GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Hyde continued with Eric Church’s fan-favorite “Some Of It,” Jamey Johnson’s “Midnight Gasoline,” and Luke Combs’ “Back 40 Back.” Ending the round, Anderson played George Birge’s current radio single “It Won’t Be Long” and Lainey Wilson’s chart-toppers “Heart Like A Truck” and “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”
